Party in Sydney, Recover in Paradise!

Noosa is the place to be and be seen post the Sydney's Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade.  Head north for the Noosa Mardi Gras Recovery week, running March 6-9, 2012.

The Noosa Mardi Gras Recovery Week takes place over a 7 day period with events that take place in Noosa and on the Sunshine Coast. The Big Gay Day party in Brisbane on Sunday March 11 is Australia’s largest gay street party,  a great way to finish your visit to Noosa. Here is a brief overview of what there is to see and enjoy:

Noosa and the Sunshine Coast

How to get there

The best way to get to Noosa from Sydney or Melbourne is to fly into Sunshine Coast airport (MCY). Virgin Blue and Jetstar both offer frequent daily flights. Enquire when booking about transfers from the airport to your accommodation.
